Beginning the Project 開始方案
discuss the topic
討論主題 (討論是為回憶己有經驗或知識,可能會有新知識的出現,或發現幼兒對主題的誤解。而討論不一定會得到正確答案,所以討論不是"探究的方法")
find out what experiences they have had, how much they know, and how well they understand the concepts involved
以獲取幼兒對主題的已有經驗,已掌握主題多深入的知識,和對主題內的概念有多認識
represent their own previous experiences of the topic
讓幼兒以不同形式表達對主題已有經驗:如畫畫,製作模型等
share their own experiences with their classmates through discussion and displays of their work
透過討論或展示幼兒自己的作品,與同伴分享自己的經驗
formulate questions about the topic
為主題設訂探究問題
establish a baseline of understanding of children

PHASE 2 第二階段
Developing the Project 發展方案
investigate the topic in depth
對主題作出深入的探究
do fieldwork
實地參觀或考察
observe and explore with first hand experiences
以第一手資源觀察和發現新事物/新情況
have opportunities to have adults (experts) to talk with about what they are observing, concerning or questioning
給予機會讓幼觀察發現的,考慮的或有疑問的,與專家(成年人)分享,讓專家誘發幼兒的發現及解答幼兒的難題
seek answer to the questions they raised
對幼兒自己訂立的問題找尋答案
ask new questions
問新問題,以持續深入發現主題的不同概念
PHASE 3 第三階段
Concluding the Project 總結方案
review what they have experienced and learnt
檢閱幼兒在探究中獲得旳經驗及已學習的內容
evaluate the project
評估方案
document the story project (Project book)
以故事書形式敍述幼兒整個主題的學習歷程
find ways to represent and share their new experience and knowledge
以不同的方法來表達和分享幼兒新的經驗和知識
personalize their own learning (establish close connection to their prior experiences)
讓幼兒個人化地展示每位在主題下的新知識(需扣連每位幼兒自己在主題進行前的經驗和完結主題後經驗和知識的提升)
